Nijisseiki Pear Museum (Nashikko Museum)

Japan's Only Pear-themed Museum

The Tottori Nijisseiki Pear Museum is one of the facilities in Kurayoshi Park Square. A huge Nijisseiki pear tree with branches that extend out to 20 m is displayed here as a symbol. This museum puts on exhibits and projects full of discoveries and experiences (e.g. a collection of pear varieties from around the world) while introducing the history and industry information on pears. You can eat pear soft serve ice cream unique to Nashikko Museum in the adjoining parlor. You will enjoy the whole day here without losing interest.
