Eat Seasonal Wild Plant Dishes in a Thatch Roof House
There is a nostalgic thatch roof house in this garden where a streamlet flows. You can eat seasonal wild plant dishes made with plenty of food from the mountains in an open sunken hearth ozashiki (tatami mat room) with the beams visible on the ceiling. The Japanese pepper miso goes great with the gentle yamame (landlocked masu salmon). Moreover, the handmade konjac (solidified jelly made from the rhizome of devil’s tongue) has a tender texture. You will feel like you can eat more and more! A virgin forest of Mongolian oak and Japanese cedar extends out in the surrounding forest. This is an environment rich in clear stream, waterfalls, wild birds and more. You can use this area as forest therapy and a forest kindergarten.
