You will find unique and historical hot springs dotted around near the Tottori Sand Dunes. These include Iwai Hot Spring, which is recommended for those looking to recover from the tiredness of having fun in the sand dunes; Tottori Hot Spring, which gushes up centered on an urban area with good access from Tottori Station; and Hamamura Hot Spring, where you will find a beautiful sand beach and ocean. You can also try a footbath or enjoy a day trip here, but we recommend you stay in a ryokan (Japanese-style inn). After immersing yourself in plenty of hot water to warm up your body, please enjoy dishes using local fish that are the pride of the ryokan you are staying in or the Matsuba crab that is the king of taste representing Tottori in the winter season to your heart’s content.
